Rachel D has participated in activities in the Campus Work
Center for three years and will be graduating in June. She usually enjoys jobs that require her to
take things apart. But recently, she
pushed away her assigned materials and pointed to an assembly job: the paint spouts!
Staff introduced the new job to her: first by modeling the assembly steps, then
hand-over-hand instruction, and then letting her try on her own. By the end of her work session, she was
independently putting the spouts together!
